JEAN POCKET MONEY HOLDER

I made this card to fit in a Christmas tin.  I distressed the edges
with sand paper, used white ink to give it a white-wash look,
punched holes and added silver gel pen to create faux stitching.

Vintage Inspiration

"INSPIRE"
I was inspired by a card design in the January/February
Paper Crafts magazine.  I used a wood sentiment, Prima
flowers, buttons, pearls and jeweled brads.  Also, I dis-
tressed the edges, used rub-on stitching and scrap
metallic origami paper.  It's much prettier in person!

Card Club Projects

CARD CLUB PROJECTS

We made this photo holder at Kathie's house. I thought it appropriate
to put my kitty, Sylvie, who passed away 2 years ago,
on it since she was such a thing of beauty.
What a princess, and she knew it!

We just made this cover for a writing tablet yesterday
at Angela's house.  Her mother, Diana, was
the host.  I think it turned out cute!

ALL DAY CARD-MAKING
AT CLAUDIA'S
My friend Claudia invited her card-making friends to an all-day Christmas
card-making session at her house from 10 to 10.  She had a suitcase full of
stamps for us to use and served taco soup and dessert.  I only stayed a few
hours, but here is what I made.  Thanks Claudia - it was a great evening!

SPECIAL EVENT TICKET
At the school I work at, the reading department and library organized
a "New Moon" premiere party for 60 lucky Twilight fans.  They asked me to
design and print special tickets that the kids could have as a keepsake.

MORE HALLOWEEN FUN!

I thought I was done with Halloween cards until I saw
this totally cute card idea on the Paper Crafts magazine's
Moxie Fab blog.  I just had to make my own!  The head
shape is created by tracing an ATC envelope template.
To make your own just look for the Moxie Fab link on my
page on my list of blogs.

I created about 80 of these ghost cards to give
out to the staff at my work.  I started them in
September because I didn't know how long it
would take.  To stamp the mouth I used a glue
stick cap.  Inside is an orange circle with a
Halloween greeting from me!

AUTUMN DECOR
Instead of a wreath, I decorated a straw broom.
All elements came from the Dollar Tree store.
Yep - this only cost $4 to make!

ANNUAL SHOEBOX PARTY
I created this non-traditional Christmas card for the
shoebox party that was held Friday, September 25.

(For those of you not familiar with a shoebox party, it is where
members from different card clubs come together and bring a
shoebox with an example of a card, directions to make the card,
and 10 kits for 10 people to make your card.  A raffle for prizes
is usually held as well.)

I started making these months ago and never quite
finished, so finally I did.  Here are the best ones of
the bunch. Some materials are recycled.
