JUNE CARD CLUB:
"TOTALLY CHIC"

I used the interlocking 3-panel card template from stampington.com to create
this card. Blue cardstock base and red cardstock for one of the front panels.
I found this lovely lady on sovintagepatterns.com where they sell vintage
clothes patterns from all decades. I paper-pieced the dress after using chalks to
color it in and stamping flowers in red ink. I added gold glitter glue to highlight
her jewelry and a red embossing pen for lipstick. Using the computer I typed
the "TOTALLY Chic..." dictionary definition and cut out in a flower pattern
with fancy-edged scissors. Attached this to green patterned paper and used a
foam dot to make it pop out. Hope you like it ladies -sorry I can't make the
meeting, I'll be on the other side of the country!

REMEMBER WHEN....
Nostalgia Card

I created this card for my cousin Moose's birthday. I took an old vaca-
tion photo from when he was 12 or 13, enlarged and copied it onto an
ivory colored paper, colored in parts of it lightly with colored pencils,
added an old-fashioned looking frame and coordinating 'M' for his name.

FLAPPER HATS!
I created these using a template I downloaded from imag-e-nation.com.
I decided to add a feather to two of them for a bit off flair. Next time
I make these I think I will experiment with fabric and ribbon.

MAY CARD CLUB: "DREAM"

This card has a layered stamp design. Bamboo background stamp from
Sunday International, "DREAM" stamp from Posh Limited's Vertical Inspirations
stamp set, and butterfly stamp from an Inka-Dinka-Doo Spring set.
I brushed glitter glue on the butterfly and used a foam dot for dimension.

CUPCAKE CARD
I made this one for Mother's Day!

I created my own cupcake template, used yellow and pink ink pads
to create stripes on cup, added red glitter to the cherry, stamped the
outside and inside quotes with espresso ink pad, colored pencils for
inside cupcake stamp and glitter for the frosting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUKE!
This lion card was created for my nephews 2nd birthday.
I downloaded the template from Paper Crafts magazine's website. In the collection
are a lion, giraffe and elephant. I used pattern and plain paper, stick-on gems for
the eyes, hole-punched paper for the nose, and I drew on the mouth. Cute!

FLIP-FLOP FUN!
Sometimes you find real treasures at the dollar store and this flip-flop stamp
was one of them. It's a good size so it's easy and quick to color in. Here I used
paper scraps with a tropical theme. The background paper on the first 2 cards
came from a paper sack. I recycled the quotes from other cards and added a bit
of gold to the first and last card. These are great to give to a male or female.

"You're Purrrfect!"
Kitty Card for April Card Club

I used thin, speckled cardboard, raffia, pink patterned paper,
silver brads, sizzix kitty die, fancy-edge scissors, speckled ivory
cardstock and foam tape to create a shadow-box appearance, though
it's hard to tell from the photo. Inside is stamped, "You're purrrfect!"
FLOWER POT CARD
This was the project I gave everyone for the April card club meeting. It is something
that can be given for all different occasions and decorated so many different ways.
The idea came from a member in my weekly card group. That person got the idea
from their other card group. Sharing ideas - I love it!
